Dr. Marguerite Duncan, BSc, DDS, MSc, FRCD(C)
My name is Dr. Marguerite Duncan. I love smiles. I believe in the impact that the ability to smile with warmth and confidence can have on one's overall well-being. As an Orthodontist (dental specialist), I have dedicated my career to transforming smiles, encouraging self-confidence, and enhancing oral health.
I have been practicing dentistry in Edmonton since graduating from Dalhousie University in 2004. After graduation I moved to Edmonton from Nova Scotia to attend post graduate training in general practice at the University of Alberta Hospital. After a few years in family dental practice, I returned to the University of Alberta for 3 more years of post-graduate training to become a specialist in Orthodontics. I have been a Specialist in Orthodontics in Alberta since 2010. My husband Bryan and I opened Simply Orthodontics in 2013, and the rest is history.
I am a wife and a mother, in addition to a professional with a career to tend. I know the challenges that adults face in coordinating and providing for all of the needs of their families as well as themselves. Balancing work and responsibilities, while making time for rest and rejuvenation is merely a dream for most of us. Where I wish to help is by providing service to you in the most efficient and reliable manner possible, ensuring you are fully equipped with the knowledge and tools to make informed choices appropriate for you.

Dr. Gail Burke, BSc, DDS, MSc, FRCD(C)
Greetings, my name is Dr. Gail Burke. I have been passionate about dentistry, since the age of 7 when I had an unfortunate tobogganing incident which left me with the loss of half of my front tooth. Following a rather traumatic dental visit and being afraid to smile due to my very obvious chipped front tooth, I vowed to help people in the future to love their teeth and never be afraid to smile. Thus my journey towards a career in dentistry commenced!
I graduated in 1987 with my BSc and DDS Degrees from the University of Alberta, and served with the Canadian Armed Forces for 7 years as a Dental Officer in Petawawa and Toronto, Ontario. I returned to Edmonton in 1993 to attend postgraduate training once again at the University of Alberta, and graduated in 1997 with my Masters of Science in Orthodontics. I have been blessed with practicing as an Orthodontic Specialist in Edmonton for 25 years and I am honoured to have become a member of the Simply Orthodontics team.
My husband and I have lived in Edmonton for 28 years and have a lovely daughter and a mischievous Labradoodle named Moose. We enjoy golfing and walking in our spare time and are always looking for the newest and best Netflix show to watch together.
Lindsay K, Registered Dental Assistant
Hi my name is Lindsay. I have been working in dental since graduating as a Registered Dental Assistant in 2011. I completed my specialization in Orthodontics shortly afterwards, in 2012 at the University of Alberta. Both my husband and I have undergone orthodontic treatment and personally value the benefits of this service. I enjoy working with our patients and contributing towards their transformation. I am very excited to be a part of such a passionate team here at Simply Orthodontics and look forward to meeting you.
My husband and I have 2 very busy young children. We are sports enthusiasts and enjoy spending as much time outdoors as we can.
Chrissy P, Treatment Coordinator
Hi! My name is Chrissy. I grew up in Victoria, BC where I had completed my Certified Dental Assisting program, and shortly after moved to Edmonton where I had began my career in dental. I first started out in general dentistry as a Sterilizing Assistant then transitioned into an Administrative Assistant. Over the years I have absolutely fallen in love with what I do, and I love seeing our patients smile! I have played baseball since I was 4, so in my spare time I am usually playing or watching baseball, or travelling back home to visit friends and family.

Hello, my name is Jessika and I am the Administrative Manager and Virtual Treatment Coordinator here at Simply Ortho. I have 10 years of office experience and I love working at Simply Orthodontics because we are always striving to create the best experience for our patients!!
I am passionate about helping others and love taking the time to make our patients feel comfortable at their appointment.
A little bit about me: My family lives in the West end and when I'm not in the office I can frequently be found in the area with my husband cheering for our son playing Hockey and daughter at Figure Skating! We also love taking our new Golden Retriever puppy Mitsy to the dog park!

My name is Joanne. I have been working in the Orthodontic field for 6 years. I love to see our patients smiling and I am so happy to be a part of their journey. It's great to see their fabulous transformations!
Getting to know me: My husband and I have 3 kids, who keep us busy! We love to travel and spend time watching them play their sports!! We have all grown up on the ice, playing hockey and ringette.

My name is Jodi. I have been working in the orthodontic industry since graduating from high school! I became a Registered Dental assistant after graduating from NAIT and then continued on to complete the Orthodontic Module at the University of Alberta. Orthodontics has been the only job I've ever had and I feel it has always been what I was destined to do! Each day is always a joy. Meeting new people and enjoying new conversations with the many families that make up our big orthodontic family makes me smile!
Getting to know me...I have 2 wonderful kids who keep me very busy. When I'm not watching the kids play sports or helping with homework, my boyfriend and I enjoy traveling and spending time with our 2 dogs as well. We are huge Oilers fans and spend many nights glued to the TV watching their games and cheering loudly!

Hi my name is Varun and I moved to Alberta from India in 2014. I am currently studying to challenge my dental test so I can start my own practice and send all of my patients to Simply Orthodontics because they are all so great here.
In my spare time I like to eat carrots and broccoli, and am currently teaching my son to ride his bike. I also have a passion for superheroes!

Hi! My name is Cait! I spent the first 10 years of my career working in the Medical Spa industry, and transitioned into Dental in fall 2020. I came to Simply in 2022 from an Emergency Dental Clinic, and I am so excited to be working in Orthodontics, and with the Simply Ortho Team!
A little bit about me: The mountains are my happy place, and my husband, dog and I are in the Rockies monthly, hiking, climbing, paddle boarding, camping and ice skating. I love nature photography, and have been taking photos for five years. When I'm not out adventuring and taking photos, I spend my time gardening, caring for my 50+ houseplants, and relaxing at home with my three cats and dog named Goose!

What I enjoy most about my job is being part of the meaningful transformations that our patients and their families undergo during their orthodontic treatment.
