COVID-19 Office Changes - What to Expect
The in-office experience at Simply Orthodontics now includes the following changes, helping to keep you smiling:
To assist in maintaining physical distancing and reducing exposure risks, the in-office common areas are closed. Unless requested otherwise by our team, please attend your appointment alone, or escort your minor child to the door for their appointment and plan to wait in the car while the clinical appointment is completed. We will provide a Report Card to ensure you are updated after the appointment. If you have any questions for our clinical team, leave them with our receptionist when you check-in. Please note that only the patient is allowed in the clinical area; contact us if your child cannot physically attend without a parent or guardian.
The brushing station is closed – please arrive with clean teeth.
All visitors are requested to use the provided hand sanitizer on the way in and out of the office.
All are encouraged to wear a mask, these are available at office Reception.
A health screening will be completed prior to any admittance. Guardians please accompany your minor child to the door and to our team. Temperature will be taken with a touch-less thermometer and recorded in the patient file. Please stop at the Check-In desk when you arrive.
To assist in easy patient flow for all, please enter the office at your exact appointment time. Please do not come in early or late as you may conflict with another patient.
The appointment will commence with a 30-second 2% Hydrogen Peroxide oral rinse to decrease the oral viral load. The rinse has a pleasant light minty flavor.
Please know, and let your child know, that our team is highly trained in infection control procedures. We are taking every precaution to keep your family safe. Once the patient enters the clinical area, physical distancing rules and mask wearing etiquette for the patient will no longer apply.
Our team will remain masked throughout the entire interaction with the patient. Our dedicated and smiling team is excited to help you with your smile transformation!
